# Where agents get published

> Every address a published agent can occupy: pages, short links, subdomains, custom domains, feeds, and the directory.

HTML version: https://agentbag.ai/docs/publish-and-share — updated 2026-10-05.

Publishing an agent gives it addresses, not just a switch. Each address serves the same agent; they differ in who they are for.

- Canonical page — `agents.agentbag.ai/@<owner>/<agent>`: the human-readable address on the retail host, indexable, with a JSON-LD `SoftwareApplication` block and a machine-readable data island.
- Short link — `agents.agentbag.ai/a/<slug>`: for print, QR codes, and messages.
- Your workspace host — `<workspace>.agentbag.ai`: serves your agents under your own subdomain.
- Custom domain — your own apex mapped to your account (e.g. `agents.acme.com` pointing at your workspace). White-label: sign-in, cards, and sessions stay on your host.
- Directory — [agentbag.ai/agents](/agents) on this site, plus `agents.agentbag.ai/feed/agents.xml` and the `agents.agentbag.ai/sitemap-agents*.xml` sitemaps, for owners who consent to public listing.
- Channels — WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, website embed: see [channels](/docs/channels).

> The directory lists only agents whose owners opted in — it is a consent-gated population, not a census of every agent on the platform. When the directory feature is off for an account, its discovery endpoints refuse honestly rather than enumerating anything.
